Hey, I've got one for you, on the heels of MAD MEN.  'Mad men' in a sports-TV, behind-the-scenes milieu ('Monday Night Football,' the Olympic Games, Demo Derby, etc.) Spanning the globe to bring you the constant variety of mayhem, corruption, sex and violence, the thrill of high ratings, and the agony of cancellation!  I've even got a good title for this, which belies greater import.
I worked there in N.Y.C. (ABC, CBS, and NBC) in the 1960s, early 70s.
There were four of us at ABC Sports (now ESPN) 'spanning the globe.'  We called ourselves THE WRECKING CREW, and are still infamous in far flung places.
I'm a professional SP writer, with 'Hollywood' experience.  I even directed Orson Welles (to the men's room).  However, at the venerated age of 75, not looking for work.  But, I might be a good consultant, as lived it!
